Become an Entrepreneur

This associate Diploma in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Project  Management  equips aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals with the practical  knowledge and strategic mindset required to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures.  Offered in collaboration with Lebanese American University – Academy of Continuing Education  (ACE), the program integrates entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, and financial  strategy to help participants develop sustainable businesses in today’s competitive environment.  Through a combination of interactive learning, real-world case studies, expert guest speakers, and  hands-on projects, participants will gain the skills required to design, plan, finance, lead, and launch  new business initiatives.  The program culminates in a capstone entrepreneurial project, where participants develop and  pitch their own business idea to a panel of experts, investors, or innovation leaders.  

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this Diploma, participants will be able to:

  • Investor Communication & Pitching: Prepare compelling business pitches and communicate  ideas effectively to investors and stakeholders.
  • Capstone Business Implementation: Apply entrepreneurial, leadership, project  management, and financial knowledge to develop and present a real-world business  venture.   

Prerequisites

 No prior entrepreneurial or business ownership experience is required.  The program is suitable for professionals, graduates, and aspiring entrepreneurs seeking practical  knowledge and tools to develop and launch business ventures.  

Format

 The Turning Vision into Reality Associate Diploma consists of 4 core courses and a final capstone  project.  78 teaching hours and45 project hours.

  • Courses are delivered in hybrid format (online and on-campus).
  • Each course includes interactive sessions, workshops, and applied learning activities.
  • The program culminates with a final entrepreneurial project where participants present a  business concept and implementation plan.
  • A Graduation ceremony will follow.   

Modules

  

Module 1: From Idea to Reality – Mastering the Pre-Launch Phase of Entrepreneurship (24h)


This module guides participants through the critical early stages of entrepreneurship, from transforming an idea into a viable business concept to preparing for market entry. Participants explore the entrepreneurial mindset and learn how to identify and validate business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis. The module also focuses on developing a strong value proposition, creating a comprehensive business plan, and building a recognizable brand identity. In addition, participants will examine funding strategies, legal and regulatory considerations, marketing approaches, and operational planning required before launching a venture. By the end of the module, participants will be able to structure their business ideas, assess market feasibility, and confidently prepare their ventures for launch. 


Module 2: Practical Project Management for Entrepreneurs (12h)


This module introduces participants to practical project management tools and techniques specifically adapted for entrepreneurial ventures and startup environments. Participants learn how to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively while working with limited resources and tight timelines. The module covers agile project management principles, goal setting, project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and productivity tools. Through interactive exercises and real-world scenarios, participants develop the ability to manage projects efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain momentum while navigating uncertainty and change. By the end of the module, participants will be able to structure entrepreneurial projects, manage resources strategically, and lead projects from concept to execution.


Module 3: Transformational Leadership for Aspiring Entrepreneurs (18h)


This module focuses on developing the leadership skills required to build, inspire, and manage entrepreneurial teams in dynamic business environments. Participants explore the principles of transformational leadership and learn how to articulate a compelling vision that motivates teams and stakeholders. The module covers key leadership competencies including strategic thinking, communication, emotional intelligence, ethical leadership, and decision-making under uncertainty. Participants will also learn how to manage change, resolve conflicts, and cultivate high-performance team cultures. Guest speakers from the entrepreneurial and business community will provide real-world insights into leadership challenges and opportunities. By the end of the module, participants will be equipped with the leadership capabilities needed to guide their ventures and teams toward sustainable success.


Module 4: Finance for Entrepreneurs (24h)


This module provides participants with essential financial knowledge required to launch, manage, and scale a business. Participants learn how to develop financial plans, forecast revenues and expenses, manage budgets, and monitor financial performance. The course covers key financial concepts including financial statements, startup funding options, cash flow management, financial ratios, and performance indicators relevant to entrepreneurial ventures. Through case studies and practical exercises, participants gain hands-on experience in building financial models, analyzing business performance, and preparing financial components of investor presentations. By the end of the module, participants will be able to make informed financial decisions and develop strategies that support long-term business sustainability.


Module 5: Final Entrepreneurial Project (45h)


The final project serves as the capstone experience of the diploma, allowing participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the program to develop a real business venture. Participants will design a comprehensive business concept that integrates market research, business strategy, project management planning, leadership considerations, and financial analysis. The project culminates in a formal presentation where participants pitch their business ideas to a panel of experts, mentors, or potential investors. This capstone experience provides valuable feedback, enhances participants’ ability to communicate business ideas effectively, and prepares them to move forward with launching or developing their ventures in real-world settings.
